Somewhere along the line you may have heard someone say that you need to somehow forcibly stop thoughts in order to meditate. This is not true. Do you know how hard that is, even for experienced meditators? We don't do it that way. If this has kept you from trying meditation, the wait is over. We have a far better way to get you into the zone. We have techniques that allow you to park your thoughts in neutral, we let them drift around of their own accord, but they don't get in the way of your awareness moving into deeper and deeper states of peace. I know it sounds impossible, but after decades of practice and having taught countless people who thought they could never meditate, it's true. Yes, the thoughts will eventually disappear — maybe even on the first day — but it's the technique that makes that happen, not your mind or your willpower. You just want great training in meditation that works. It is suitable for both beginners and experienced meditators alike. We explore the process of meditation from a practical and theoretical level. We cover a general theory of mind according to yoga principles and we present a powerful three stage sequence technique that delivers deep states of restorative meditation quickly. You will get some customisation and explanation based on your prior experience and needs. Everyone's mind is different, but there is also common ground. We work with the fundamental dynamics of thought to deliver you into states you didn't think we even possible. But you have to practice and be committed. Like anything of value, you get out what you put in. Having said that, the technique itself is simple and efficient. It's probably not like anything you've ever done before, yet the state you achieve will feel so familiar, so YOU – that you'll realise the state you want to achieve was staring you in the face the whole time. We encourage you to attend at least three group meditations following the instruction to consolidate and extend the practice. These additional weeks are optional, and if you're in town for only a short time then you can forego this add-on knowing that the intensive instruction is ultimately all you need to begin a successful meditative routine on your own. > Ok, I'm ready to enrol 6-WEEK MENTORED PROGRAMS Ideal for those looking for rapid progress and results. This package includes a comprehensive initial training session, a 24 hour review checking after the initial instruction to ensure correct application of the technique, and regular review sessions over six weeks to get the practise fully established and maximise the benefits.This approach is consistent with many senior executive programs and provides ongoing support for positive transformation. Persistent negative thoughts lead to emotional responses that dampen our ability to feel alive, engaged and happy. We may feel lost, life may feel pointless, we may have difficulty in our relationships, we may have a low opinion of ourselves, we may feel like our minds are holding us back. Unhelpful mind states are reversible. Habitual thought patterns can be dissolved and reformed into more positive ones. The aim is to gain better control over our thoughts. Part of this relies on changing our perspective. The very act of seeing things differently (you could say from a more enlightened viewpoint) instantly limits the ability of the mind to throw us off course. Previous participants have been surprised about how quickly improvements take place–often in the very first session. Program participants are guided though simple techniques that enable us to feel reconnected with that part of ourself that is positive and free of fear, doubt and anxiety. We learn to hit the internal 'reset button' to allow our natural state of relaxed confidence to rise to the surface. We learn how to observe the thoughts without getting entangled in them. Over time, this state becomes the 'new normal'. The techniques, which require only a few minutes of practice a day (and can be employed any time during the day as required) are reliable and effective. Neuroscience (see our research section) suggests that regular practice actually rewires the brain. Amazingly, this can happen within weeks. The parts of our brain that support emotional stress are reconfigured so that we become more resilient. Long term changes are sustained because we have simultaneously dissolved the embedded emotional stresses of the past while strengthening ourselves to better handle future challenges.
