If you have tried to meditate, thinking you had to stop your thoughts and became frustrated because you weren’t able to, then this course if for you! It’s the number one mistake beginners make.
But it doesn’t need to be that way. The state you seek is already there, we just need to remind you where and how to find it. Over time a deepening happens, all by itself.
This course is about discovering an easier, calmer, clearer and more grounded way to meditate — from wherever you are in the world.
Milton Meditation Centre is opening expressions of interest for a new self paced, professionally supervised meditation program designed for people seeking authentic, practical instruction in deep meditation and inner development.
The program draws on our founder’s four+ decades of personal practice and teaching experience, and incorporates techniques from the Tantric and Vedic traditions, informed by yoga theory of mind and modern neuroscience.
The process allows for a natural accessing of a state of internal stillness which deepens over time, giving way to a new default state where calmness, clarity and joy — and living effortlessly in the moment — are natural by-products.
The testimonials you will read on this site are validations from people like you, who in many cases with no prior experience were surprised how quickly benefits started showing up in their lives, even after just a few practice sessions.
Designed as a flexible alternative to formal in-person training, the virtual course allows participants to progress at their own pace while still receiving professional guidance and support throughout the journey.
The program includes:

Why Meditate? People often complain about having a constantly active mind and lacking the ability to switch off. This is very common in our society. We are constantly bombarded with and addicted to external stimulation. While stimulation may be fun for a while, we also need to learn how to give the mind a break. This is where meditation comes in. Meditation is such a natural thing that once you learn, you'll wonder why you left it so long. We have taught people from all walks of life. Busy parents, tradies, seniors, professionals, even high school students. Everyone can benefit from learning to meditate—even those who've tried before or who think they can't. And those who mistakenly believed you need to stop your thoughts. Lessons are drawn from ancient yoga traditions and adapted for modern western lifestyles. We understand people are busy and don't have hours to dedicate to practice. The main thing is having efficient tools to calm the mind down quickly. You only need minutes a day to feel much better. The safe, effective, easy-to-practice techniques give very quick benefits to most people. A commitment to discovering a better version of you is all that is required, and daily practice will soon yield surprising results. |
“ Just as dream objects can be transformed in dreams, so emotional states and conceptual limitations can be transformed in waking life. With experience of the dreamy and malleable nature of existence, we can transform depression into happiness, fear into courage, anger into love, hopelessness into faith, distraction into presence. Challenge the boundaries that constrict you. The purpose of these practices is to integrate lucidity and flexibility with every waking moment of life and let go of the heavily conditioned way we have of ordering reality, or making meaning, or being trapped in delusion.” Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche
